FAR too warm for me too, ...............and if anyone else asks me if the warmer weather makes my aches and pains better, I will scream "NO!!!!it blooming well doesn't, in fact I have resorted to morphine for the first time in ages this weekend!!!!!!!" (and the cooler weather won't make it better either!!) Lx

Hi Joanne, I forgot about the ice cube thanks for posting. Hey Mel could be an idea until your shower is sorted.I use to roll the ice direct on the the skin and let it melt - bliss ThumpUp

I am glad to hear, that I am not the only one, who can`t take this weather. I also feel like screaming, when people keep telling me, that this weather is good for my bones. Absolutely rubbish!!! I am aching all over, my knees and hands are swollen up and hot and I can`t sleep.

Yesterday I had enough, phoned up my rheumy dept. and they agreed to give me a depo injection this morning. They are also putting me down for Humira, as Mtx does not seem to help me anymore. I am longing to get on with my life. I hate not being able to do anything.

My joints are always better in the heat - when we were in the Caribbean I didn't have to take any pankillers for the whole 4 weeks. I think we are all different.

I am a walking radiator, oven, microwave........whatever. The combination of baby and RA is hot, hot, hot......................today is roasting here. My boys are having a massive water fight and I keep walking through them and asking them to keep spraying! At first they were suspicious but after a few moments of begging they sprayed.............................bliss! LOLOL

My feet have been terrible, I can't stand for very long or they are so painful. I've been putting them in my foot spa with cool water, the relief is wonderful.

Thanks Jo, for the info about cooling, lots of good advice.
